Mary Catherine Shanks

Grew up in New Orleans and was raised in the Catholic faith. She became a born-again believer in 1975 and started attending Open Door Fellowship. Shortly after, she began moving in the prophetic and leading Intercessory prayer in the church pursing her calling as an intercessor. In 1981, she married Bill Shanks, and they began a family. Pastor Bill & Mary Catherine Shanks started New Covenant Fellowship in 1986. She has been involved in prison ministry, Operation Save America, children’s ministry, Intercessory prayer team and the ladies ministry.  Over 30 years later, she is still faithfully serving the saints. Mary Catherine heads up the children’s ministry, the ladies ministry and Intercessory prayer.
